Conservation celebration to hit Wall Township area

Wall Township is invited to save the date for an event that will shine a light on local conservation efforts.

The Spring for Conservation Family Day will soon be taking over Bayonet Farm, which is located at 41 Middletown Road in Holmdel. It is on offer thanks to the Monmouth Conservation Foundation (MCF), and since it will be held both indoors and under cover, it will take place rain or shine.

The activity will be filled with an assortment of ways to have fun. Kids can meet some new furry and feathery friends in the petting zoo, and pony rides will also be on offer. The adults can wet their whistles with a craft beer, and barbecue will be on the menu as well. The entertainment will be provided by the Black Ties, and a reptile show, arts and crafts, a hayride, ice cream, and face painting are just some of the other offerings in store for the attendees.

While the celebration will be open to all, it is expected that tickets will sell out quickly. There is also a menu of sponsorship opportunities, starting at the $250 Bronze level. Each has its own perks, including the chance for these supporters to have their Logo Design viewed by a wide audience.

This day dedicated to conservation will run from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm on Saturday, May 11. Tickets may be reserved ahead of time by visiting the Monmouth Conservation website.
