Bai Brands to locate within old Ocean Spray plant

Bai Brands has reportedly opted to locate in a former warehouse in Bordentown, New Jersey.

The space in question used to be occupied by Ocean Spray Cranberries Inc. and a different drink will be the consequence of the activity. If promotion of the new coffee-related product is required, the management of Bai Brands could use a Print company from Wall Township.

Joseph Malone, the Mayor of Bordentown, has been upbeat about the development. He has told the Wall Street Journal:

“For the town to recover in basically a year from the time it lost its largest taxpayer and largest employer is pretty miraculous.”

Bordentown has a population of less than 4,000 people, so relocation by the Ocean Spray employer had constituted a significant economic blow to the area. However, the organization had provided severance packages to workers who were not tempted to relocate to a facility elsewhere.

The management of Bai Brands has aspirations to employ 50 workers as soon as the move is completed. Further, it has concrete plans to hire 50 more staff after that.

The move by Bai Brands has been facilitated by the work of Modern Recycled Spaces. This business has experience of purchasing former mills and factories. It has a record of refurbishing old premises before selling them on to new owners. It has been suggested that the deal with Ocean Spray could be worth in excess of $10m to the firm.
