POAC Autism Services has made arrangements to give kids on the spectrum, along with their whole family, an experience where they will be able to get their hands dirty.
This Wall Township event will be hosted at Allaire Community Farm, and it will be filled with activities of a sensory-friendly nature. Verbal and non-verbal autistic people are welcome, and refreshments will be served.
The kids will be invited to participate in an assortment of tasks, including planting seeds. There will also be a hayride, and the petting zoo will be open so all the guests can spend some time visiting the animals who call the farm home.
Since the siblings of a special needs child can sometimes feel left out, the organizers of the day have made sure to include them in the plans for the occasion. They can take part in all of the fun.
Offering autistic kids a chance to experience as much of the world as they can help them to become independent adults. Print shops can design coloring sheets, activity Books, and other swag for an occasion like this, and these can be given to each boy or girl who takes part.
This autism-friendly visit to the farm will be taking place on July 11. The location for the function can be found at 1923 Baily’s Corner Road.
