Area chefs to serve up some of their best in support of healthcare pros
Some of the best chefs and other food service professionals from around Wall Township will be putting their talents behind a fundraiser that will help local healthcare professionals further their education.
The event has proven to be very popular in previous years, and its organizers expect that it will once again be a sell-out.
The Long Branch Chamber Of Commerce will be bringing together area restaurants for the yearly ‘Taste of Long Branch’ celebration. Featuring both sweet and savory items, the function will include everything from main dishes, to appetizers and other small bites, to desserts, pastries and other items.
Rooney’s Oceanfront Restaurant will be open for this festive occasion starting at 5:30 pm, and its cash bar will be open for anyone who would like to wet their whistle. Music will provide a casual backdrop, and everyone will be invited to mix, mingle and have a great time.
While the event will be all about fun, it will also have a greater purpose. The monies collected will benefit the Kay Guadagno Memorial Award & Scholarship Fund at Monmouth Medical Center. A company that crafts corporate gifts will be able to design a special plaque or other award that can be presented to the recipients of a prize or other scholarship like this.
