Upcoming expo provides lowdown on living a healthier life

To help those people who are looking to limit their gluten intake or follow a generally healthier diet, events such as the Gluten and Allergen Free Expo are cropping up, and this particular one will be making a two-day stop in Secaucus this September.

The expo is set to feature seminars, beverage concessions, and more than 150 vendors representing a range of corporations, health organizations, and community groups dedicated to healthier eating. In addition to providing a showcase of their products and services, vendors will also be handing out coupons, selling discounted products, and providing free samples. In order for attendees to keep everything together, everyone will receive a free reusable tote bag.

Some of the seminars will have such themes as how to understand sensitivity to gluten, cooking and baking tips, and ways to get rid of all of the toxins in a diet and lifestyle. Secaucus printing companies may be asked to provide some of the coupons that vendors are planning to hand out.

The Gluten and Allergen Free Expo is taking place at the Meadowlands Exposition Center from September 6 to 7 from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm each day. Tickets are $15 in advance or $20 at the door, and $3 for children aged 3 to 10 or $5 at the door.
