Secaucus-area scavenger hunt takes participants to iconic locations

A scavenger hunt styled after the reality show The Amazing Race is taking place at Central Park in the Secaucus area this November.

This interactive event has participants working in teams to solve mysteries, solve challenges and find historic glimpses into iconic landmarks.

With the use of a smartphone, adventurers can go at their own pace as they discover hidden gems around the park as well as famous locales in this self-guided journey.

There are two main starting locations, the first of which is at Lower Central Park. With a starting point at Columbus Circle, scavengers will make stops at everything from the Shakespeare Garden to the Bethesda Fountain, Central Park Zoo, Wollman Rink and Belvedere Castle.

The second main starting location is at Mid Central Park and begins at the Dakota, a historic apartment building near the park. From there, adventurers will go to the American Museum of Natural History, Strawberry Fields, the Delacorte Theater, the Metropolitain Museum of Art and the Delacorte Theater.

The entire scavenger hunt can accommodate large groups, is appropriate for all ages and can be completed within three hours.

Scavenger hunts like this may choose to use Stationery printing to create item labels and instruction sheets.
