The town of Secaucus will soon be organizing its summer employment program for local students, and it is currently accepting applications for a variety of positions.
Each summer, the town sets up summer camps, a swimming club, and an assortment of other projects, and area youth are invited to apply to work at any that are of an interest to them. The swim club is looking for an assistant manager as well as lifeguards, custodians, and clerical staff. Public works is also looking for summer student staff members, as is the summer camp for children and youth.
The different positions all have their own requirements for age, education, and experience, and are open to university, college, and high school students, so long as they are of an appropriate age.
Applications will be accepted from the public until May 15 at 4:00 pm. They can be filled out online or in person at the Administrative Offices at the Town Hall. Successful applicants will be informed about where and when they will be working once a final decision has been made.
