Secaucus starts summer with blood donation drive

Summer is on the way in Secaucus, and before they head out to enjoy the season, residents have been asked to consider making a contribution that may save someone’s life.

A blood drive will be set up at 780 Post Place this June, organized by the New York Blood Center. Those who would like to donate will need to bring along their donor card or photo ID, and while appointments are encouraged, drop-ins can be accommodated.

New York Blood Center is one of the biggest community-based charitable organizations involved in blood collection and distribution, and both first-time and regular donors are welcome to its drives. The process, from when they arrive until they head out the door, usually takes about one hour, and anyone who plans on doing it is reminded to drink plenty of fluids and eat well on the day of their donation.

When promoting an event to the public, Print shops will be able to offer not-for-profit groups everything from Letterheads to full color Brochures. They can help their customers to choose ones that combine effectiveness with a price their budget can accommodate.

The New York Blood Center will be running this blood donation drive on June 110 from 1:00 pm until 7:00 pm. The entrance for the activity will be found on Centre Venue.
