Once again, it is time for the Annual Green Summer Festival to take place in Secuacus, teaching people how they can live a green life in their community.
Now in its fourth year and targeted towards all age groups, the organizers may have used a variety of poster printing and flyer printing services to share information about this event with people who reside in the community.
This year’s event looks set to be bigger and better than ever and offers children a petting zoo, a recycling magic show, canoe and pontoon rides, and an Eco-Art bus. Older kids might enjoy rock climbing, a bat and raptor show, a butterfly exhibit and the New Jersey Mobile Museum.
With live music and the chance to try some green-focused food, attendees can also find out how to care for birds and bees in their gardens, and there will be stations for paper shredding and appearances from organic farmers too.
The event is sponsored by Field Station Dinosaurs, the Xchange, the Town of Secaucus, and Hackensack Riverkeeper, and is free to attend.
The festival will be happening this Saturday, May 3, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm at the Secaucus Xchange located on Riverside Station Blvd. To learn more about this festival, visit the Secaucus New Jersey website or call the organizers at 201-864-7336.
