Each March, the city of Secaucus celebrates its Irish heritage, and 2019 will be no different. A party has been planned for the younger members of the community, and it will include a slew of activities that kids find fun.
The recreation center on Koelle Boulevard will be the host for this St. Patrick’s Day party, and it is rumored that it will be so exciting that even a leprechaun from the Emerald Isle will be stopping by for some photo ops with the kids. While it has been planned with the younger set in mind, the parents who attend can also enjoy themselves while they mingle over a snack and other light refreshments.
Kids at the celebration will be welcome to take part in the activities that will be set up for the afternoon. They can decorate a cookie, enjoy the music and have their faces painted with the design of their choice. There will also be crafting stations, and families are welcome to drop in any time between 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm.
A local event like this can really bring the community together. The planners can count on their local printing services company to supply them with any of the materials needed for their function to be a success.
This salute to St. Paddy has been set for March 19th. All local families are invited to put on their favorite green outfit and come on down.
