Secaucus festival to focus on environment

Secaucus is set to go green this May, and a special event will celebrate the joys that often go hand in hand with environmental stewardship.

The community's Green Festival will be marking its 13th year in 2024, and the Mayor and Town Council have cordially invited one and all to join in the festivities. It will be taking place at 4000 Riverside Station Boulevard. The agenda has lots of interactive fun on tap.

People will be able to take in one of the environmentally focused presentations, and there will be food and drinks on offer for the crowd. Local live entertainment will take to the stage, supported by a variety of activities that provide information about going green. A variety of ethical and sustainable businesses and not-for-profit groups will be setting up shop, and the celebration will run for four hours.

When organizing environmentally focused activities like this, planners often choose decor, marketing materials, and other items that may be recycled and materials that are sustainably harvested. Print shops will have an assortment of options on offer with a minimal environmental impact.

This opportunity for Secaucus to discover the fun of going green will run from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm on Saturday, May 4, or on the day after if the weather is unsuitable. The city’s website provides additional information.
