The Secaucus area is about to take a step back in time when it holds an event that will put the Renaissance period in the spotlight.
The Mini Renaissance Festival will be taking over Buchmuller Park, and it will be an afternoon with fun for all ages. It will include a nod to William Shakespeare and his works, and the venue for the activity is ADA accessible.
When they arrive at the venue, the guests at the function will be treated to a variety of period-style entertainment. There will be everything from jesters to jugglers and jousters, along with an assortment of goods on offer in the festival’s marketplace.
The activity has been made possible thanks to a grant from the New Jersey State Council of the Arts. Anyone with a disability who requires special accommodations so they can join the fun is asked to contact the organizers in advance.
Renaissance festivals and other historically themed events may call for items with a period look and feel. These can be prepared by a printing services company that offers Graphic Design Services to its clientele.
Buchmuller Park will be going back in time with its “Wild About Will” celebration on Saturday, August 10. Should the weather be unsuitable, the event will be rearranged for two weeks later, on Saturday, August 24.
