Those who love nothing more than to sit down to a good feed of freshly steamed blue crabs may wish to make their plans now for an upcoming Secaucus area event.
The Jersey City Crab Festival will see families from across the state come to enjoy an all-you-can-eat meal of blue crabs that will be both seasoned and steamed on site. It will be accompanied by corn on the cob, hot dogs, rolls, roasted potatoes, baked beans, hamburgers, a garden salad, cakes, and watermelon slices.
While the guests enjoy the seafood and other picnic-style fare, there will be plenty of time for socializing and networking with the other guests. The kids can enjoy having their faces painted, and there will also other activities planned just for them.
Only a limited number of tickets will be offered to the public, so anyone who is interested in attending may wish to purchase theirs well ahead of time. Tickets start at $45 each for those aged 12 and over, while for those younger than this, they will be $30.
