Secaucus area gardens to spring into another season

As spring approaches, many Secaucus residents are eager to get outdoors, and an area historic site’s garden is open for them to visit.

Van Vleck House and Gardens has created a program that will encourage the public to explore the property. It will be a self-guided activity, and advanced registration has been requested by the organizers.

Once they have signed up for the class, the registrants will be able to pick up their Activity Kit, which will be made available outside the Raymond House Family Education Center on the day when the function will take place. These will include information about the plants and wildlife as well as other learning materials, and the theme for the occasion will be “Spring Discoveries”.

While this event will be self-guided, the host explained that masks will still be required and everyone will need to keep socially distant. It is on offer free of charge to members of the organization, and both adults and children are welcome.

Adapting programming like this makes it possible for a venue to continue to host public activities in difficult times. A printer will be able to provide a variety of learning materials, as well as promotional Pens and other items to include in the activity kits.
