Custom hairpiece workshop planned for Secaucus learners

A Secaucus class this April will show how locals can make their own custom hairpiece.

Whether they are worn by someone who is going through chemotherapy or who just wants a new look, a custom-made hairpiece can give an individual a way to easily update their appearance. The lesson will teach a group of learners how they can use a sewing machine and some simple materials to craft an assortment of hair pieces. The registrants will each receive a gift bag of Promotional Products to take home with them, and a certificate will be emailed to each attendee once the class has drawn to a close.

Those who register for the lesson will need to bring an operational Brother sewing machine than has a built in computer, and they will also need to have three packets of weft hair. They are also asked to make sure they have an extension cord as well as scissors and a comb, and the other materials, including caps and thread, will be supplied. Advance registration is required, and monies will not be collected at the door.

This hairpiece making workshop is open to anyone who is interested. It will be on offer at the Embassy Suited by Hilton Secaucus Meadowlands. Scheduled for April 5, it will start at 9:00 am, and registration can be arranged through Eventbrite.
