Those in the Manalapan area wishing to celebrate Valentine’s Day will have at least three options this year.
Mixologists at 618 will be holding a Valentine’s Day Cocktail Class with lessons on both stirred and shaken cocktails accompanied by light bites. Each attendee will get a little take-home gift. Tickets are available for $129 per person.
The Valentine’s Day Cocktail Class will take place Thursday, February 8 from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm at 618 Park Avenue, Freehold.
On Valentine’s Day itself – Wednesday, February 14 – from 6:30 pm to 10:00 pm, American Hotel at 18 East Main Street, Freehold will be hosting a Valentine’s Dinner and Comedy. Guests may indulge in the Chef’s Spectacular Buffet including salmon, chicken, ribs, and sides, and Jay Black will headline the comedy show. Tickets will be $107.
Another romantic dinner option will be a special Valentine’s Day 4-Course Dinner at 618. Tickets will be $139, and cocktail or wine pairings will be an additional $49.
The first course will be pasta, mussels, tuna tartare, mushroom bruschetta, or crispy pork belly. Second course options will include burrata, gem hearts Caesar, baby greens salad, or short rib ravioli. The third course choices will be New York strip steak, chicken Milanese, duck breast, beef tenderloin, or halibut. Desserts will include pistachio olive oil cake, ice cream sandwiches, carrot cake, chocolate mousse, and gelato.
