Outdoor adventure welcomes Scouts in Manalapan

A natural area in Manalapan is preparing to welcome troops of Boy Scouts this April, providing a day of outdoor learning and fun.

The Webelos Woods event, which is part of the Monmouth Council of Scouting America’s spring event calendar, has announced a date for the day of outdoor learning, adding excitement to the horizon for local troops. Participating Scouts will get to dive into the essential scouting skills and get to spend time with members of the partnering troops.

The experience will be filled with fun activities and competitions for the Scouts to do, while doubling as a bridge to connect the Cub Scouts with the Scouts BSA. Both Webelos and Bears will learn and demonstrate different scout skills, passing the torch to the next wave. Brochure printing is an efficient way to share information about the event with parents, providing an extra layer of trust and understanding ahead of such events.

The troops will demonstrate the skills they have spent the past year honing while engaging with the Cub Scouts. The goal is to provide a welcoming and cooperative learning environment. The experience will be complete with scavenger hunts that give dens and packs the chance to compete.

Quail Hill Scout Reservation in Manalapan will host the event on Saturday, April 11th, starting at 9:00 AM. Interested parties can RSVP online.
