Plant sale helps Manalapan residents connect with nature

Manalapan residents with a love of plants and nature are in luck, as a native plant sale will be coming to town this spring.

The Nature Fest & Native Plant Sale, presented by the Manalapan Environmental Commission, is offering a day of fun, shopping, and nature for area residents who wish to add to their home decor and landscaping with native plants. Visitors will be able to connect with nature and learn about the wildlife native to New Jersey.

The event will also provide educational insights into the ways in which native plants can help the environment when planted in homeowners’ yards. It will feature a family-friendly environment, offering local parents the chance to help their little ones discover an interest and appreciation for nature. Printing services can provide colorful Banners and Posters to help promote community events like this through impressions and emotional connections.

Children can pot trees and flowers that they can take home and plant, along with participating in nature-themed activities and games. The plant sale will feature experts from the New Jersey Native Plant Society who can provide advice on which plants will thrive in residential areas.

The Manalapan Recreation Center is set to host the educational event and plant sale on Sunday, May 31 starting at 9:00 AM. Admission is free, and interested parties can book their reservations online.
