The Manalapan area will be celebrating the holiday with three seasonal events.
This Friday, December 16 from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm, Brenda Limaldi, a public-school music teacher and owner of Sunny Bee Music, will be sharing her chocolate house decorating skills with children ages four and up. Each child will decorate a chocolate house with candies and icing. A short sing-along will take place afterward. Tickets for one child and adult will be $45, or $50 for two children with an adult.
The Delaware & Raritan River Railroad will be bringing Santa to Freehold and Manalapan on Saturday, December 17. The four stops will be Jamesburg Fire Department at 10:00 am; Reed & Perrine Co Tennent Road, Manalapan at noon; Builders General in Freehold at 1:00 pm; and Freehold Borough Fire Department, 49 W. Main Street at 2:00 pm.
Finally, Freehold Borough Human Relations Committee will be presenting its annual Holiday Candlelight Walking Tour on Sunday, December 18 from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
The free tour will start at the First Baptist Church of Freehold, stopping at two other sites, and finishing at St. Peter’s Church at Crossroads Center. Refreshments will then be served at the church.
Photographers like to take pictures on walking tours. These photos often go to Stationery printers to become part of seasonal note card sets.
