The United States Specialty Sports Association (USSSA) of New Jersey will be holding its 2022 USSSA NJ Hall of Fame Banquet here in Manalapan at the end of February. The event will honor deserving members of the organization’s community.
This year there will be seven honorees. Those in the Male Player category will be Willie Allen, Joe Kraft, and Frank Bender. Kirk Tarabokia will take the honors in the Director category and Bill Sampolski will be the recipient in the Manager category. The honoree in the Female Player category will be Agnes Whitfield-Conover and Tommy Tvrdik will be the Sponsor category beneficiary.
Family members and friends of those receiving honors such as these often take pictures of the honorees and take them to local Print shops to be made into duplicates for other family members and friends.
Adult tickets are $60, and kids under 13 years of age will need to register for free tickets as the organizers need to get some idea of how many children will be attending so they can arrange for enough chicken fingers and French fry meals. Each inductee will receive two free tickets - one for themselves and one for a guest. Tickets can be purchased on the event’s website. Admission will include dinner and an open bar.
The USSSA New Jersey Hall of Fame Banquet is scheduled for Saturday, February 26 from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm at the Battleground Club, 40 Millhurst Road.
