Children and kittens will be the themes for festivities coming to the Manalapan area at the beginning and end of October.
The 1st Manalapan area World Diversity Day Children’s Festival has been rescheduled for early October.
The event has been organized to celebrate cultures around the world with dancing, choirs, sing-alongs, stories, and book giveaways among many other activities. Some of these activities will include a Nigerian Village display, Books read by their authors, Ukrainian Children’s chorus, and We Are the Future basketball drill demonstrations.
The World Diversity Day Children’s Festival will be free and held Saturday, October 8th from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Freehold Pond-Lake Topanemus,251 Pond Road, Freehold.
All Fur Love Animal Rescue, Inc. will be holding a Meowsquerade Pawty to defray the vetting costs of the influx of kittens taken in this year. The event will offer games, music, a costume contest, trivia, gift basket auction and a 50/50.
Tickets will be $25 and will include coffee and desserts. Food will be available for purchase and there will be a cash bar.
Animal lovers often get a little flyer printing done for events like this and place Flyers around their neighborhoods and at work.
