Manalapan walks for Muscular Dystrophy
Monmouth Battlefield State Park will be the location of this year’s local Walk MS which will happen toward the end of April.
The walk will offer three-mile and one-mile options. The route is a one-mile loop, so it may be completed one or three times.
Before event day, participants can rise to Go Time challenges made on the Walk MS Facebook page. Those raising $100 or more in pledges will receive T-shirts sporting the event’s logo design. Registrants may also opt to become part of teams and create their own colorful shirts. For every shirt ordered, the Society’s national Walk MS T-shirt vendor will return $1 back to the team.
Other team benefits will be available at next year’s walk. These include a tent and table in the 2024 Team Village for teams raising over $3,500. These tables may be decorated, and teams usually bring snacks and other supplies for its members.
Manalapan individuals raising $500 or more this year will receive top fundraiser credentials and get special treats in a special MS Walk fundraiser area next year.
This will be a rain or shine event. If weather becomes severe, participants, will be notified on social media and email of any delays or cancellations.
The 2023 MS Walk at Monmouth Battlefield State Park, 16 New Jersey 33 Business, will open at 9:00 am with the walk beginning at 10:00 am on Sunday, April 29. Dogs and service animals will be welcome.
