Manalapan walks for MS
This year’s Walk MS: Manalapan will be a little different as it will be entirely online.
Walkers can register online and since this is a major MS fundraiser, participants are encouraged to get pledges from their neighbors, co-workers, relatives and friends. MS walkers can then walk individually outdoors and around their neighborhoods or indoors on exercise equipment. Families or friends can participate in groups by walking together in parks and around their neighborhoods.
Walkers can create their own virtual walk MS Bibs on the On Demand Experience webpage and add a little blurb about why they walk for MS. Pictures of these bibs can be uploaded on the event’s gallery page to share with others.
The Walk MS App has challenge badges and each guest can earn them as they complete the challenge.
The Walk MS On Demand Interactive Experience is an online portal that offers resources, sponsors, volunteer information, local attendees and the backpack page where sponsor resources can be saved. Upcoming programs, a special welcome video from the CEO and special messages from Walk MS participants can be found on the New Jersey “Find My Walk” map.
Families and groups that often walk together in fundraisers such as this often have colorful T-shirts printed with a family or group logo design or graphic design.
