Manalapan tees off for the homeless

Habitat for Humanity in Monmouth County will be presenting its 6th Annual Golf for Homes at the end of August. Board member and volunteer Dave Hinton will be this year’s honoree, and over 100 golfers are expected to attend.

A BBQ Lunch and a dinner will be provided. A cocktail hour will precede the dinner. Guests can use the driving range an hour before the shotgun start, and there will also be a putting contest. Players will receive swag Bags with their registration.

Sponsorships ranging from $1,500 to $7,500 will be available and will include from one to four sets of foursomes. All of these include dinner guests’ tickets and inclusion in the Habitat for Humanity’s E-journal. All logos and company names will be listed on event Flyers and signage.

There are also sponsorships available for the dinner, lunch, cocktail hour, putting contest tee, driving range, and beverage cart.

Individuals may register for $225. Foursomes can register for $900 each, while dinner only will be $75 per each guest and an e-journal ad only will be $50.

Those golfers who wish to help get this information out to the public may want to send the information to their organizations before their August newsletter printing.

The golf tournament will be August 21 at the Battleground Country Club, 1 Covenhoven Road, Manalapan, with registration beginning at 10:00 am. The event will close at 8:00 pm.
