Manalapan Recreation Center is showing its holiday spirit by presenting the area with a light show and a Holiday House Contest.
In a few days, Manalapan Recreation Center will open a Holiday Drive Thru light show. This will be presented on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (December 11 to 13) from 4:45 pm until 7:00 pm at the Center.
Cars must enter on Route 522 at 120 County Road through the main entrance and continue to the Dreyer Tract. Everyone will leave through the west lot.
Manalapan residents can still enter the Manalapan Recreation’s Holiday House Contest until Thursday, December 17. Judging will take place between December 18 and 23.
Judges will not be entering the property to see the lights, so all lighting must be observable from the curb. Participants are to leave their lights on between dusk and 9:00 pm.
Three winners will be chosen. Awards will be based on Curb Appeal, Overall Presentation and Creativity. Winners will be announced through social media and the Mayor’s Update on Wednesday, December 30.
Many people who pull out all the stops for the holidays like to get pictures of their finished Christmas projects. They can take the photos to nearby Print shops for duplicates to put in their annual newsletters, or to local Stationery printers to be added to their yearly family Calendars.
