Many area golfers and rock music enthusiasts will be interested to know that there will be two charity events coming over the next few weeks. One here in town will be Raising Hope for Others Inc. Charity Golf Outing and the other in Old Bridge will be Rock for Autism.
Raising Hope for Others Golf Outing will include cocktails, prizes, a raffle, basket auction and dinner. Registration including cocktails and dinner will be $250 and cocktails and dinner only tickets will be $85. This year proceeds will go to Sharon Condiracci who is battling a Stage 4 cancer.
The shot gun start will begin at 2 pm at Battleground Country Club, 40 Millhurst Road, Manalapan Township, Tuesday, August 24th and cocktails and dinner will begin at 6 pm.
Garden State Groove (Top 40s) and Radio Daze (80s party band) will rock the night away at Rock for Autism. Tickets will be $20 per person and include drinks and food.
Along with the live bands, there will be 50/50 raffles, vendor tables, games, face painting and magic.
Proceeds will go to New Horizon in Autism which supports those with developmental disabilities living in the Ocean, Bergen and Monmouth Counties’ area.
