The Manalapan High School Music Parents Association will be presenting its annual Grand Gift Basket Auction at the end of February. To date, over 200 baskets have been created. Proceeds will go to support the Manalapan High School Music Department.
The auction is actually a raffle and participants buy sheets of bronze, silver, gold and platinum level tickets. Baskets are organized according to total cost of their contents and assigned ticket numbers. Tickets are drawn and the ticket number holder will get the basket. A value package is being offered that includes tickets of each level.
Some items in the baskets will be designer pocketbooks, Disney Park hopper tickets, a Samsung tablet, jewelry, Calphalon cookware and a 40-inch television. Some will have autographed sports items and others lots of gift cards and tickets. Many baskets will have items that revolve around a theme.
The $15 admission will include water, tea, coffee and dessert and a sheet of tickets (Bronze level). Guests may bring their own food. The first 100 people to register will receive swag Bags.
There is still plenty of time to get the word out about this event to local organizations before their February newsletter printing.
The auction is scheduled for February 24th, 2017 at Manalapan High School, 20 Church Lane, Manalapan. The drawing begins at 7:30 pm and doors will open at 6 pm.
