The Manalapan Arts Council is getting ready to host its annual Summer Concert, Car Show and Fireworks event coming soon.
The concert will be a performance by Ragdoll – a tribute band paying homage to Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. Rumor has it that Eddy Rezzonico, the falsetto lead singer, really does justice to Frankie’s vocals. Fans of the original Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons will be searching their attics for their favorite old Promotional Products such as T-Shirts to bring or wear to the festival.
The car show will begin earlier in the evening. No preregistration will be required, so anyone wanting to enter their prized auto just needs to bring it to the West Entrance Parking Lot. Plaques will go to all participants and there will be prizes.
No need to bring food or drinks as there will be plenty of vendors on site hawking summer treats. However, it may be wise to tote along lawn chairs and blankets and arrive a little early to secure a good spot on the lawn.
When it gets dark around 9:30 pm, the crowd will settle down for the half hour fireworks display.
The event will be held this Friday, July 13 from 6:00 to 10:00 pm at the Manalapan Recreation Center located at 120 Rt.522 & Taylor Mills Road.
