Manalapan Day is coming in early June. This will be a celebration to kick off the summer.
The event will have local food vendors hawking traditional summer festival treats such as hot dogs, funnel cakes and lemonade. Merchant vendors will be selling cash-and-carry items. Area organizations, clubs, and associations will have exhibits and pass out information about their missions, goods, and services.
Local performance groups will be offering nonstop entertainment throughout the afternoon. Kids can take rides, meet ponies, visit the petting zoo, and there will be plenty of games and carnival-type rides.
Banner printing will be done by the Arts Council for platinum sponsors, but gold and silver sponsors will need to provide their own Banners.
The 5th Dimension with Florence Larue will be the entertainment highlight of the evening. This group has won six Grammy awards, and had six Platinum records, and 14 Gold records among their achievements. Some of their golden oldies are ‘Up, Up and Away’ and ‘Wedding Bells Blue’.

A huge fireworks display will end the festivities, all proceeds of which will go to the Manalapan Arts Council.
Manalapan Day will take place at the Manalapan Recreation Center, Route 522 and is scheduled for June 9 from 3:00 until 10:00 pm. Admission will be free.
