Couples looking for something to do around Valentine’s Day may enjoy an evening with the Jersey Four and dinner.
The Jersey Four is a tribute performance about Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. The show takes audiences from the formation of the Four Seasons back in the late 1950s, through the years that they and Frankie Valli joined forces, and up to Frankie’s solo career and what the band is doing today. The guys - Lou Reed, Joe Cilento, John Ferulli and Anthony Ierulli - will be using humor in their narratives and trivia.
To create the sound of the original group, the foursome uses Jersey Bounce horns, Thunderbird, Fender-Stratocaster and Gibson-Firebird guitars, Ludwig & Gretsch drums and Fender amps. The audience will be invited to dance and sing along to some of the group’s and Frankie’s 29 top 40 hits, such as ‘Can’t Take My Eyes off of You’, ‘Sherry’, ‘Rag Doll’, and ‘Walk Like a Man’. Manalapan fans will no doubt want to see if the band has any Promotional Products available at the event.
The dinner will begin with a mixed green tossed salad followed with a selection of entrees, including chicken Francaise, eggplant rollatini, penne vodka, and various meats at the carving station. There will also be seasonal vegetables and mini desserts.
The Valentine Dinner and Show will be Sunday, February 11, at the iPlay America’s Event Center, 110 Schanck Road, Freehold. It starts at 5:30 pm.
