Library to hold seminar that shouldnt be taxing

With the coming of the New Year, and many Manalapan folk likely concerned about paying their upcoming individual federal income taxes, the local library will be presenting a seminar conducted by Alex Ermoloff, an IRS-Enrolled Agent, next week.

Ermoloff will be focusing on helping taxpayers get all the deductions to which they will be entitled. The event will be free to attend.

Topics to be covered will be the Affordable Care Act and noteworthy changes for the last calendar year, and for 2016. Among other topics, Ermoloff will also discuss ‘Taking Advantage of Available Employee Flexible Spending Plans’ and ‘Eligible Tax Credits that Reduces Tax Debt Dollar for Dollar’.

The economics guru will list and talk about deductions besides the standard Itemized Deductions. Those heading into retirement will be especially interested in the tax options available for retirement, while attendees with children can learn how to plan for their kids’ college tuition.

Those who have questions will want to jot them down and bring them to the seminar. Guests will want to get their digital business cards updated so they can share their information with other business-minded attendees.

The seminar will be offered Tuesday, January 26, from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm at the Monmouth County Library headquarters in Manalapan, 125 Symmes Drive, Manalapan. Registration will not be necessary.
