Little Manalapan ghosts and goblins have a couple of events focusing on Halloween fun during October.
Manalapan Recreation will be hosting its free 30th Annual Monster Mania. Children from the ages of two to nine are invited to attend, which will open with Joe Fisher’s Halloween Magic Show. That will be followed by the parade and costume contest.
Fright Fest will begin 15 minutes later. This will be an array of games and crafts and even a monster or two. The Halloween Haunted Trail will also open at that time. Management advises that the trail may be too scary for younger guests.
Town Hall will be the location of the town’s annual Trick or Treat. Children can dress in their best costumes and go through the building collecting treats. Some towns take pictures of the little ones as they parade through to use in their visitor guide brochure printing.
Manalapan Monster Mania will be held rain or shine at the Manalapan Recreation Center Taylors Mills Road and 120 Rt. 522 on Monday, October 29 starting at 6:30 pm. The magic show gets things underway near parking lot #1 in the Pickle Ball Courts. The parade and costume contest follows at 7:00 pm in the Basketball Court, and the Haunted Trail and the Fright Fest will begin at 7:15 pm at the Fitness Trail entrance.
Town Hall Trick or Treat will be Halloween day, October 31, from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm.
