Many Manalapan residents will be heading over to Freehold Township Day coming in July.
This annual celebration will again be featuring among other experiences, live music, games, food trucks, door prizes, and free kids’ rides. All local teens are invited to the free Teen Center.
This year’s music artists will be the Phil Engel Band and Screaming Broccolli. Among the food vendors will be Angelotti’s, the Grease Truck, the Empanada Guy, Blaze Pizza/Buffalo Wild Wings and 618 Restaurant.
Merchandise vendors will include CKO Kickboxing, Manatees United, New England Novelty, Mosquito Joes (pest control), Monmouth Gymnastics Elite, and Fun House Productions.
Each sponsor, including iPlay America, Freehold Family of Dealerships, Shore Point, Radisson Hotel Freehold, and Jersey Central Power and Light, has its Logo Design on the event website.
Local associations will have booths giving out Flyers, Business Cards, and giveaways. Some of these will be the Freehold Township Education Association, the Freehold Public Works, Monmouth County Veterans Services, and Monmouth Pain and Rehabilitation.
The “Don’t Forget the Vets” car show will display classics, street rods, trucks, special interest vehicles, customs, imports and hot rods. The show will award trophies and give out dash plaques.
Fireworks are scheduled to begin around 9:00 pm.
Freehold Township Day will be Saturday, July 10 from 4:00 pm until 11:00 pm in Michael J. Tighe Park, 65 Georgia Road, Freehold. The car show will begin at 3:00 pm and end at 9:00 pm
