Children in the Manalapan area will be donning their finest ghosts and goblin attire when the go to the upcoming second annual New Jersey Angels Fall Festival coming at the end of October.
Children’s games will be from 3:00 pm to 5:30 pm. The children’s Trick or Treat Costume Parade will start at 5:45 pm.
The Carved Pumpkin contest will be the featured event. Pre-carved pumpkins can be dropped off and registered in specific categories between noon and 5:15 pm. Those entered in the Professional category will be judged on best use of pumpkin and creativity. Non-professional category winners will be for the Spookiest, Toothy Grin, Halloween Creature, Galactic Glow, Boo-tiful, and Classic Jack (for children under 11). Props will be allowed.
Judging and awards for the carved pumpkin contest will begin at 6:15 pm, and the Gift Basket Raffle Pull will be at 6:30 pm.
Five Sponsorships are available. Those donating at the $150 Pumkin Patch level will receive one sign featuring the business Logo Design or message. Those opting for the more expensive levels need to get their Logo Design to the event organizers before the Enchanted Banner printing is done. These include the Bewitching $500, Enchanted $1,000, Spellbinding $2,500 and Full Moon $5,000 levels.
New Jersey Angels Fall Festival is scheduled for Sunday, October 30 from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Calgo Gardens, 462 Adelphia Road, Freehold.
