Course offers best tips of the web
Manalapan locals will soon have a chance to learn a lot more about ways to search the Internet thanks to a class being offered at the local library.
The class will be called the ‘Advanced Internet Searching Class’ and will be open to anyone interested in becoming better at finding things on the internet
Though typing words into a Google search box may seem straightforward, the truth is that there are a lot of tips and techniques people can use to make their searches both more productive and more efficient. Advanced techniques can lead to more hits, and a lot less time scrolling down through hundreds or thousands of pages for information.
The class will consist of a lecture that will focus on showing how to find what is being looked for, whether it is news, images, relevant webpages, or other information. There will also be examples given that attendees can use to apply to their own searches.
Afterwards, there will be a Q&A session. Those planning to attend would do well to bring along questions. Many may want to have flyer printing done to help promote the event so that there will be similar classes offered in the future.
