A charity golf tournament is in the works near Manalapan, allowing area golfers to play for a good cause.
The Drive for a Cure charity golf tournament and outing will begin soon, and area golfers will want to dust off their clubs to hit the links supporting a local fundraiser. The event, which supports the NJ Rett Syndrome Drive for a Cure, is attempting to raise money to find a cure for Rett Syndrome research.
The golf tournament is seeking sponsors by working with local businesses in the Manalapan region. Companies can sponsor tee Signs, Gift Certificates, and other Promotional Products for the outing. Substantial donors will be named as sponsors of the event.
Registered golfers will enjoy an included continental breakfast before hitting the links and playing 18 holes of golf. A putting contest will allow participants to win prizes while displaying their golf skills. Guests will enjoy a barbeque lunch midway through the outing to ensure refreshment and comfort.
Players who register a hole-in-one will win a 2024 Dodge Durango, courtesy of Route 18 Chrysler Jeep Dodge. Local companies interested in sponsoring the event can contact Leslie at leslieg@njrsa.org.
The Cream Ridge Golf Course will host the outing on Monday, September 23rd, with registration beginning at 7:30 AM. Golfer registration costs $160 per player, and interested parties can book their reservations online.
