In just a few days, Manalapan families looking for entertainment can bring their lawn chairs and blankets and head out for an evening of traditional music, reggae, soul, jazz, funk, Motown, rock, and today’s top hits.
The Manalapan Arts Council’s last free summer concert will feature Valarie Adams & the Dimension Band. Adams will be the mistress of ceremonies and is her band’s lead vocalist.
Adams and the band perform throughout the tri-state area at festivals, private, and corporate events. With a song list of over 225 selections, the group has a wide range of music that includes lively songs like ‘Block Party’, ‘Poppa’s Got a Brand New Bag’,” ‘Disco Inferno’, and ‘Cha Cha Slide’. It also includes softer and mellower tunes from the likes of Bob Marley, Nat King Cole, and Luther Vandross.
The Manalapan Arts Council (MAC) is a volunteer organization dedicated to enriching the community’s awareness of the arts through promoting presentations and programs in the field. Local entrepreneurs will no doubt want to get business card printing orders in early and have digital Business Cards available to ensure that they will have enough to share with other like-minded people at the event.
