North Jersey group to host unbridal show
The Spring Expo of the Divorce Professionals is coming up in Wyckoff, just a short distance from Hohokus, at The Brick House restaurant.
This group was formed by businesspeople from North Jersey who wanted to serve as a single source referral system for dissolving a marriage. It includes a mortgage officer, both an individual and family therapist, a real estate broker, an insurance agent, a private investigator, a life coach, and a financial advisor. Together, they provide guidance and reassurance during the divorce process.
According to Robert Abbott, from the Abbott & Casserta real estate firm, this group is designed for people going through divorces where there are issues related to finances, real estate, and children, and provides experts in the fields where help is most needed.
There are no divorce mediators or attorneys or in the group, but it is planning to create a directory of professionals who specialize in these areas. A nutritionist and certified matchmaker are also members of the group.
It would be expected that such a group looks to brochure printing companies to print materials about the group and how it can provide the services and support people need while going through the divorce process.
At the expo which will be held on Tuesday May 19, attendees will hear presentations by divorce lawyers, a mediator and an estate planner. Abbott added that vendors from businesses not directly associated with divorce have also been invited to exhibit, including makeover consultants and spas.
