Night hike to visit Hohokus area nature center

The longest night of the year, which is also known as the Winter Solstice, will be celebrated at a Hohokus area nature center, and the participating families will be treated to a hike under the stars.

The Tenafly Nature Center will be welcoming parents and kids who are age five and up for a Winter Solstice Hike, and everyone who takes part is advised to dress warmly in layers for the occasion. One of the Center’s Environmental Educators will serve as the guide for the experience, and both members and non-members can participate.

The group will be heading out for the excursion with no flashlights, and once they have adjusted to the moon and starlight, they will go for a short walk along the site's forested trails. They will listen for animals and play games, and after this, they will be able to warm up by the bonfire and have a cup of hot chocolate.

Events that give residents an opportunity to explore the nature right in their own backyard. A poster printing company will be able to provide marketing materials, as well as an assortment of paper ticketing options and other support.
