Local inn announces festive lineup
The Hohokus Inn and Tavern is hosting several special events during the month of December for the holiday season.
On Wednesday, December 10, at 6:30 pm, there will be a Holiday Champagne Tasting with champagnes and sparkling wines from France, California, New Mexico, California, and Italy paired with festive hors d’oeurves. Reservations are required and guests are invited to dine after the tasting at the Inn.
On Sunday, December 14, a Holiday Family Buffet Brunch is planned. Musical performances will include a group from Northern Highlands Regional High School, and St. Nick will be making a surprise visit. There will be traditional breakfast and lunch items, with a Viennese Table featuring assorted breads and desserts made at the Inn.
The venue will also have a special Christmas Eve Dinner, with a three course a la carte menu. Dinner starts at 3:00 p.m. and runs until 8:00 p.m.
New Year’s Eve is also a special night at the Inn, with both an early and late seating, and a seasonal dinner at each. During the evening, guests can dance to music provided by DJ entertainer Willie Wilson, a complimentary champagne toast, and festive noisemakers and party hats at midnight.
