Hohokus residents who enjoy nothing better than spending their free time on the hunt for hidden treasures should take note of an area event filled with antiques for both the serious collector and those who just like to browse.
For the past 73 years, the Glen Ridge Antiques Show has been on offer in the community, and it is the longest running event of its kind in the state. Its organizers remarked that the show attracts a large selection of dealers from all over the North East, and a group of dedicated volunteers will also be on site to lend a hand in any way they can.
The show is expected to host thousands of attendees, and the proceeds from the function will benefit the local community. Everything from furniture to small collectables, clothing and other items will be included, and a cafe will be serving up both lunches and dinners to those who would like a bite to eat.
The organizers of the two-day event remarked that there may still be dealer spaces available, and anyone who is interested has been asked to call 973-464-9793. The 74th annual Glen Ridge Antiques Show will be held on January 31 and February 1. Admission for the public is $7.
