Hohokus show to wow local craft lovers

A Hohokus event will showcase the skills of area quilters.

Those who attend the Bergen County Quilt and Coverlet Show will be treated to a chance to view these handcrafts, and a variety of traditional and modern patterns will be on display. It was noted that these examples of quilting will come from both museum and private collections, and will provide examples of how quilts styles have changed over time.

The organizers explained that, as antique textiles may be fragile, an opportunity to view a collection like this tends to be quite rare. Along with the display, people who come to the show will be able to go for a guided tour of the Schoolhouse Museum as well as sit in on a lecture, and try their luck in a quilt raffle and other activities. The venue is wheelchair accessible.
