Hohokus serves up new restaurant range
Several new eateries have opened in the Hohokus area of late, no doubt leading to a surge in the need for promotional printing services as these establishments seek to make themselves known via banner and flyer printing.
An Italian-American offering called the Hohokus Bakery has opened, featuring cannoli with hand-made shells and many other traditional Italian pastries. Other bakeries that have opened in the area include a new Carlo’s Bakery in Morristown and Bean Vault Coffee in Hoboken, the latter of which serves coffee and tea and pastries from the Balthazar Bakery. Along the same line is Eagle Specialty Coffee in Eatontown, which has such fare as bagels, soups and drinks.
Also near Hohokus, The Allendale Steak House has been opened by the owners of the Mezza Luna. The restaurant features USDA prime, 35-day dry-aged steaks.
Several restaurants with an ethnic flair have opened in the area. At the Gyro Loco in Fairview, authentic Greek specialty foods are served, such as moussaka, pasticcio, and spanakopita, in addition to the more well-known souvlaki and gyros. Tre Amici, a family style Italian restaurant serving homemade pasta, pizza and other dishes has moved to a new location in Long Branch and now has a full bar. The owner and chef of the restaurant, Matthew Zappoli, is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America and a champion of the Food Network program ‘Chopped’.
