Hohokus residents to holiday shop til they drop
Public libraries often serve a valuable role in the community, and one located not far from Hohokus will be the beneficiary of a two-day pop-up market.
The Holiday Arts and Crafts Boutique will be held this year at the Fair Lawn Senior Center, and admission is free to the public. It is being hosted thanks to the efforts of the Friends of the Maurice M. Pine Public Library, and it will be showcasing the talents of an assortment of local makers.
Those who include the market in their December plans may be able to finish their holiday shopping at this one stop, and while they do, they will be supporting their local small business community. Craft kits, baked goods and many other items will be in the mix, and entertainment is on the agenda. Prize draws and a silent auction will take place, and everyone will be treated to a free cup of coffee, courtesy of Starbucks.
Organizers of special occasions often choose to post marketing materials throughout their area in an effort to build the buzz, provided they have obtained permission. A flyer printing company will have lots of options available that may be used for this.
