What's Happening in Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ…

Hohokus race seeks corporate support

While October may be well in the future, the organizers of a Hohokus area fundraiser are already seeking sponsors, and as it will be its 20th anniversary, they will be pulling out all the stops.

The Ho-Ho-Kus Education Foundation announced that it will once again be running its Richard’s Run fundraiser, and it has put out a call to its business community looking fit financial support as well as corporate gifts in kind to offer as draw prizes. The activity will be family friendly, and a discounted registration fee is available until June 20th.

The run will take place along a route that winds through Hohokus, and the fun will wrap up with a post-race party that will be set up in the town center. The proceeds will support educational programming at Ho-Ho-Kus Public School as well as Go4TheGoal, which supports pediatric cancer research. The sponsorship program starts at the $250.00” advocate” level and goes up to the $5000 “presenting” level.

When organizing a fundraiser, planners usually want to bring their activity in at, or hopefully, under budget. Print shops will be able to help, and can work closely with each of their clients.

The 2025 Richard’s Run will hit the road on October 5th. More details about locations and timings for runners as well as potential sponsors, can be found on its website.
