Hohokus program to help make holidays bright for all

Hohokus is a community known for its generous spirit, and the organizers of a fundraising drive are hoping this will be on full display this month.

Power Changes Lives is once again running its Operation Holiday in 2022, and a call has been put out seeking support from locals. Those who do so will be helping a child, senior, homeless person or someone else in need to have a happy holiday, and applications for this program may be made now.

The initiative sees donors “adopt” someone in need of a helping hand, and all contributions will be tax deductible. Those who are interested can choose their family and learn more about them, and once the “adoption” has been arranged, contact details will be provided so the gifts and other supports can be dropped off or sent to the recipient through a local organization.

Along with adopting daily, there are other ways for the public to get involved. They can donate to support a senior or help the homeless. These contributions will be administered through Power Changes Lives.

Community service agencies often run fundraisers during the holiday season. Printing services can help to ensure they are a success.
