What's Happening in Ho-Ho-Kus, NJ…

Hohokus plans four-wheeled culinary festival

The Hermitage is a Hohokus attraction that provides a glimpse into the area’s past, but this September, it will take on a modern edge when it serves as the venue for a festival of food service operations on four wheels.

A variety of local food trucks will be rolling in for The Hermitage Food Truck Festival, which will be both family and pet friendly. Admission is $5, or free for kids aged five and under.

As the agenda for the afternoon and early evening has lots of fun on tap, attendees are welcome to bring a folding chair, claim a spot, and set up for the festivities. A beer garden will help the adults in the crowd to wet their whistle, and live bands and fun for the kids, such as face painters, balloon twisters, and a magician, are on the schedule. At least nine food trucks will be taking part, so there will be plenty of choice on the menu.

A mobile eatery provokes an alternative to a traditional restaurant. The graphic design department at a local printing services company can prepare and install vehicle wrap on site so they look their best for a special event.

The Hermitage will be welcoming foodies for this culinary celebration on Saturday, September 21st. It will run from 12:00 pm until 6:00 pm.
