Hohokus invited to trip the light fantastic Slovakian style
The Hohokus area will be celebrating its Slovakian heritage with an evening that, over the past 26 years, has grown to become one of the region’s most popular events.
This year will mark the 29th for the annual Slovak Ball. It will celebrate Slovakian music, culture, and food, and there will also be draws for a variety of prizes that range from a yacht cruise to a dinner that will be held at the residence of the Ambassador of the Slovak Republic. It will kick off at 7:00 pm with a cocktail hour, and the fun will keep on going until the wee hours of the following day.
The plan for the occasion include dinner, and the bar will remain open until 1:00 am. A special performance will be staged by Pavol Hammel, who was presented with the Crystal Wing award in 2018 in recognition of his contributions to the music industry, He will be performing some of his original works, and after this, Express Band will take to the stage to keep the crowd’s toes tapping all night long.
