Hohokus festival to offer food, fun, and families
A food and beer celebration has been scheduled for the Hohokus area, providing a fun way to support local kids.
At least 20 area food trucks will be rolling into the parking lot at the Boys and Girls Club of Clifton, and the celebration will be an all-ages activity. Kids and well-behaved, leashed pets are welcome, and admission for those age five and up is $5 at the gate.
The attendees at the festival will be able to choose a variety of fare from the food trucks, and the adults can kick back and relax in the beer and sangria garden. Margaritas will also be on offer, and both strawberry- and lemon-based versions will be poured.
While the food and drinks may be the main draw for some, other offerings on the agenda will be pony rides and a petting zoo for the kids, and everyone can visit the vendor tables. The seating for the occasion will be indoors, and to help make sure everyone has enough to eat, a collection for local food pantries will be taking place.
Ensuring that an activity is appropriately marketed can be an important part of its success. A flyer printing company will be happy to help.
This family festival will be serving up food and fun on May 15. It will run from 11:00 am until 7:00 pm.
