Hohokus area workshop planned for crafty kids
Working together to create a craft project often offers a fun bonding experience for both a parent and child, and this is the inspiration behind an upcoming Hohokus area activity.
Kids from grades two and up will be crafting a special butterfly pillow, and it will be a workshop t for them to enjoy with a parent or other adult caregiver. The day is an initiative of the Wyckoff Family YMCA, and both members and non-members are welcome.
The registration fee for the class starts at $25, which will cover the cost of the materials used. The group will be working with batik fabrics to create a three dimensional butterfly cushion, and each crafting couple will be able to take their completed project home with them. The activity will be led by a member of the organization’s Children’s Program instructional team, and the registration system for the session is now open.
By preparing a variety of publications that include the logo design of the organization hosting an activity like this, a flyer printing company will be able help ensure it will be a success. It can offer materials at a variety of price points.
This crafting session will welcome registrants on April 17, and everyone is asked to arrive by no later than 10:00 am. Anyone who would like to find out more has been asked to email TiffanyR@wyckoffymca.org.
